"Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair!" Simple Simon is not simple at all, as a matter of fact he is as smart as whip! I only called him simple because he needs no fancy embellishments, he is a lovely Simon just the way he is! I used my old-fashioned pattern with a lovely kid mohair instead of the usual sparse mohair and changed the nose a bit and along came Simple Simon. He wears a plain antique satin blue ribbon. He has shoe button eyes to look very old, they may have lost their sheen but they have not lost their gleam! I hope you enjoy this fellow, he is a little over 13 inches tall from the tops of his ears to the tips of his toes! His pawpads are wool felt!
